What EventQ is

We collect events for kids from public sources in Athens and send you, every week on the day you choose, the ones that fit your area and your children’s ages. The information (times, prices, availability) comes from the organisers and may change. Check with the organiser before you set off. We don’t sell tickets and we are not responsible for the events themselves.

EventQ Pro

• It costs €3 a month or €25 a year, with no VAT (exempt under article 44 of the Greek VAT Code). You pay by card through Stripe and the subscription renews automatically until you stop it.
• You can stop whenever you like. You keep EventQ Pro until the end of the period you have paid for, then continue for free.
• If you don’t like it, write to us within 14 days of the first payment and we refund the full amount, no questions asked.

Promoting an event (for businesses)

• Promotion costs €39 with no VAT (exempt under article 44 of the Greek VAT Code) for one weekend. Your event goes first, marked “Sponsored”, in the Thursday email to parents who live within the radius and have children in the ages you chose.
• The event must be real, suitable for children and take place that weekend. We may reject or correct text that is misleading or unsuitable. If we reject it or the email is not sent, we refund the full amount.
• You guarantee that you have the right to use the texts, links and pictures you give us.
• We don’t guarantee a specific number of bookings or visits.

Event pictures

• You can add one picture to an event, free listing or promotion. You guarantee that it is yours or that you have permission for us to publish it, and that it shows no recognisable faces of children and no personal data. If adults are visible, you have their consent.
• You give us the right to show it on EventQ and, for promotions, in the weekly email, for as long as the event exists. You can ask us to delete it at any time at johnstam1314@hotmail.com.
• Every picture is checked automatically and approved by us before it appears. We may reject or remove it if it doesn’t suit a site for families. If we remove the picture of a promoted event, the promotion continues without it.

General

We may change these terms. For changes that affect you we will tell you by email before they apply. Greek law applies. For complaints write to us first at johnstam1314@hotmail.com. As a consumer you can also turn to the Consumer Ombudsman (www.synigoroskatanaloti.gr).
